1. Regulation 5 and 6 - Neighbourhood Area Designation (November 2013)
Burley in Wharfedale Parish Council applied to the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council under Section 5 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 to become a designated Neighbourhood Area on 29 November 2012. The Neighbourhood Area was approved by Bradford Council on 5 November 2013.
Bradford Council officially publicised the designation application as required by Section 6 of the Regulations. The publicity period lasted 8 weeks from Monday 22 July until Monday 16 September 2013. Shipley Area Committee were invited to consider the Neighbourhood Area Application at its meeting on 30 October 2013.
